TRIP HIGHLIGHTS

  • Enjoy a beach break : Ngapali Beach is the perfect addition to a classic Myanmar tour, offering a chance to relax after traveling.

  • See Myanmar’s pristine coastline : Untouched by modern development, Ngapali showcases Myanmar’s natural beauty with white sands, clear waters and lush hills in the distance.

  • Explore a tropical fishing village : Opt for a boat trip to a remote fishing village to learn about the ways of life on the coast

Wind down at Ngapali, Myanmar’s ultimate beach paradise. Spend four days relaxing on the pristine white sands, being lulled by the sounds of palm trees swaying in the breeze. Take a swim in the clear, warm waters of the Bay of Bengal and dine on freshly-caught seafood.

Distances and journey time: Thandwe Airport to Hotel area (3 - 10 km): 5 - 30 mins

Upon arriving at Thandwe Airport, be greeted by the driver and transferred to Ngapali Beach, a 20-minute drive.

Ngapali Beach is a quiet 3-kilometre stretch of white sands lined by coconut palms.  The warm, clear waters are perfect for watersports such as snorkeling, and there are several small islands which can be reached by boat.

Overnight in Ngapali.

Enjoy two full days at leisure in Ngapali. Daily breakfast is served at the hotel, and there are options for snorkeling, boat trips or bike rides.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Beach Safari at Maung Shwe Lay - We can also arrange, with advance notice, a visit to Maung Shwe Lay for a ‘private beach’ for the day. This beautiful spot is a typical fishing village in the Rakhine State and is, due to its remote location, rarely visited by tourists. It is also the location of an EXO Foundation-founded library, which provides books, journals and other materials and educational support to the residents of Maung Shwe Lay.
